The 2024 NFL Draft has now concluded, and now teams like the New York Jets have started to sign some undrafted players who could one day be a difference maker.
Mississippi State football had three players drafted into the NFL, but they were not the only ones taken by NFL teams.
On Monday morning, it was announced that the New York Jets were bringing in the perfect player with the ideal name: Jett Johnson. The team signed the former Mississippi State Bulldog linebacker.

Jett Johnson Could Become A Fan Favorite If He Makes The New York Jets Roster
Former Mississippi State Bulldogs linebacker Jett Johnson has a chance to become a fan favorite and a legend based on his name alone. The Jets have signed him as an undrafted player following the conclusion of the NFL Draft.
Johnson is a player who put up numbers during his six years at Mississippi, and there is no doubt that he could do the same thing in the pros for the Jets.
