The Miami Dolphins have a high octane, high wire passing attack that is the envy of dozens of NFL teams. Willie Snead, who now plays wide receiver for the Dolphins in Tagovailoa’s offense, is the latest player to find himself in the news for what he said about the Dolphins QB, who has been a lightning rod of controversy at times.
Snead, formerly of the Chiefs and 49ers, made an unflattering tweet about his current quarterback in January, which has now prompted a video apology.
The apology came as Tyreek Hill revealed his true mindset entering the season during a sticky-wicket contract situation. A Dolphins breakout candidate was revealed.
The Dolphins’ offensive battery is hoping to move forward now that Snead has done his best to reconcile with Tagovailoa.
Snead’s apology to Tagovailoa, revealed
Snead said that he and Tagovailoa talked about his comment, which was made this winter.
Snead called Tagovailoa “soft” and said he needed to fix that part of himself for the Dolphins to win.
He said that he was rooting for the Dolphins during the game he was watching and that he wanted Tagovailoa’s team to beat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
New #Dolphins WR Willie Snead apologized to Tua Tagovailoa last night for his "stop acting soft" tweet in January.

Snead’s impact on Dolphins
The Winter Park, Florida native Snead was a sneaky pickup for the Dolphins who had two big seasons in his first two years in the NFL.
Snead nearly had 1,000 yards both of those years with Sean Payton’s New Orleans Saints, and has since watched his production fall off a cliff.
He had just three targets and two catches for the 49ers last season and is now 31 years of age and an NFL journeyman. Few thought that Snead’s career would go down this path, but the Dolphins know that he has the talent to reprise his role as a productive player in Miami, especially with Tagovailoa calling the shots on offense.
The Dolphins were the talk of the football world in the early going last season and now they have a chance to live up to the hype with Tagovailoa coming back for a new season, hungry for wins.
The conversation he had with Snead could pay big dividends both now and in the future, giving Dolphins fans hope for a brilliant extra option in the passing game beyond Tyreek Hill and the rest of the Fins’ WR corps this season.
