Despite all the criticism and doubts over their relationship, Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick are still going strong.
How to Watch
This became more evident earlier this week when The Valley couple shared several peeks at their romantic getaway. On Thursday, August 1, Kristen posted a sweet and amusing Instagram Story of her and her beau spending time in Santa Barbara. The image captured the couple posing against a stunning ocean sunset with lush greenery leading to the beach.
Inside Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick’s Romantic Getaway
But in true Kristen and Luke fashion, they balanced out the lovey-dovey vibes with a hefty dose of humor. Kristen was seen looking up at her man with a doting expression, while Luke crossed his eyes and stuck out his tongue.
“Real life,” the Vanderpump Rules alum captioned the Story, followed by the laughing crying emoji.
Hours before the sunset picture, Kristen posted a photo of her and Luke at the Grassini Family Vineyard, where they enjoyed some drinks and SoCal sunshine.
How did Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick meet?
Kristen and Luke confirmed their relationship less than two years ago, shortly after they met at their mutual friends’ wedding. The former SURver spoke about the romance in a 2022 episode of her podcast, saying she was immediately drawn to Luke but was hesitant to start another relationship.
“I battled with being, like, your person,” she told her boyfriend. “I love you so much, but just the thought of being someone’s girlfriend again threw me through a loop because I want to be a wife and I want to be a mother. And I was so tired of being a girlfriend for a couple of years and then having sh-t fall apart.”
Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick drop big news about their living situation
Although she was still processing her breakup with her ex-boyfriend Alex Menache, Kristen decided to give love another chance and started a long-distance relationship with Luke, who lived in Colorado at the time. Since then, the couple has taken several big steps in their relationship and are looking to get a new home together.
They confirmed the news in the June 27 episode of their Balancing Act podcast, explaining why they wanted to ditch small-apartment living.
“Another big thing that is hopefully happening … we just submitted applications to move into a rental house,” Kristen said. “Get out of the apartment. And let me start off by saying I am very grateful once again for a roof over my head. We are so grateful for everything, but it’s just getting to be a f-cking pain in the ass… There are just things I am realizing about myself that I absolutely need to thrive. And that is being able to go outside with my dog at any point, sit outside, and work.”
“So exciting,” Luke added.
