Eagles fan Dawn Staley jokingly said even she couldn’t resist Tom Brady’s undeniable charm

Ask any average Philadelphia Eagles fan what they think about Tom Brady, and their answer will likely amount to some spontaneous combination of expletive-laden insults. But not for iconic Eagles fan Dawn Staley.

Well, at least not anymore.

Now That He's Retired, Everybody Loves Tom Brady | GQ

In a Sunday Twitter post, Staley revealed she had apparently met Brady in person for the first time. As the legendary college basketball coach would describe, it was hard to resist Brady’s undeniable charm and glow. Especially while being taken aback by his hand covered with all his Super Bowl rings.

If given the chance opportunity, it seems Brady can really break down the walls of an Eagles fan. Who would’ve thunk:

Look, as a self-avowed Brady hater myself, I don’t doubt that he’s probably super likeable once you meet him in person. All that talk about “villain” and “ruined the NFL” and “gah, he just won’t go away, will he?” goes out the window once you see someone’s smile and once you see all the luxurious football jewelry they own.

I get it. I do. It happens.

Even still, kudos to Staley for admitting this out loud. You can tell this confession wasn’t easy for her based off the apparent look of conflict and real-time confusion in the photos.

After all, swallowing one’s pride as an Eagles fan is no small task.
