That bond appears to be unbreakable, and it’s great to see that everyone involved is able to set aside whatever heartbreak they experienced on The Golden Bachelor to shower their fellow contestants with love and appreciation.
Interestingly, while she specifically mentioned the Golden Bachelor women in her Instagram post, Theresa completely ignored Gerry. There wasn’t a single mention of him in her very long post, with not even a passing reference to her ex-husband. Theresa talked about the other contestants as well as the fans who sent her “lovely messages” that she found very touching. The Golden Bachelor winner likely wrote her caption this way on purpose. It’s been clear over the past several months that she wants to move on from Gerry and live her best life with her family and friends..
It’s probably for the best that Theresa keeps ignoring Gerry. The Golden Bachelor lead saw his reputation be ripped to shreds in the aftermath of their divorce. He is constantly berated in the comments sections of his Instagram posts over divorcing Theresa, even though it supposedly was a mutual decision. That non-stop negativity could easily transfer over to Theresa if they publicly stayed in each other’s lives, even as friends. Gerry’s social media activity shows he’s also moved on, but he’s not afraid to hit back at critics. As a result, Theresa made the right decision to not mention Gerry.
