Leah Messer barely knew Corey Simms when she got pregnant with twin girls, Aleeah and Aliannah in 2009. This was all featured on 16 & Pregnant and moved over to Teen Mom. Though they tried to make it work as a couple, even tying the knot, it just was not right for them in the long run. She went on to marry Jeremy Calvert and they had a daughter, Adalynn but that marriage also crumbled. In the midst of this, one of Leah’s twins, Aliannah was having a lot of mobility issues. It turned out that she had Titin Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy but that has not slowed her down.
Leah and Corey have worked very hard to ensure she had all of the accommodations that she needed to thrive and now, she and Aleeah are fourteen.
