The Seahawks have two of their five starting offensive line positions, including center vacant. Their starter from a season ago, Evan Brown, signed with the Cardinals. They had an open competition between two players, including their fifth-round pick.

The Seahawks drafted Olu Oluwatimi 154th overall in the fifth round of last year’s draft. Oluwatimi served as the backup to Evan Brown in his rookie season. He played 16 games and started once in Week 7.

Oluwatimi competed against free-agent acquisition Nick Harris in spring practices and the first few weeks of camp. The competition was close as both players split reps with the first-team offense.Ezoic

However, the competition will end since they signed a veteran offensive lineman.
