Clevelаnd Browns QB Desһаun Wаtson рrovіdes more good іnjury news іn lаtest uрdаte

If there was any doubt regarding Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson’s shoulder – he shut it down.

Watson suffered a glenoid fracture in his throwing shoulder against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10, ending his campaign. He had surgery and remains in the rehab process, where he provided fans with a positive update about his health as offseason workouts approach.

“The situation is good,” Watson said on his QB Unplugged podcast. “We’re in a great spot, right where we need to be. We have plenty of time to ramp up the throwing sessions and things like that, but everything is going pretty smooth.

“As long as I’m feeling well and the doctors and (physical therapists) and everyone are on the same page, we’re in a good spot.”

Much of the 2024 season is riding on Watson being healthy for most of it. He hasn’t had one fully healthy year in Cleveland, but Browns management has felt optimistic about the next campaign for the No. 1 quarterback on the depth chart.

“I’ll be better than I was before in Week 1,” Watson told reporters Thursday, via Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer. “I’m very confident in the roles of the doctors. Dr. [Neal] ElAttrache and his team, following their lead, just all the research that I’ve done. And then just my work and preparation. I’ve put my whole life into this, I want to make sure I come back even better than before.”

2023 was riddled with injuries. However, with Watson in a good spot, he will be able to participate in offseason and preseason team activities soon enough.
