The couple wants their kids to pursue whatever they are passionate about, without pressure from their parents’ careers. Owens said he doesn’t want to force anything on their children and will fully support them in whatever they choose to do. Biles echoed this sentiment, stating that having kids is definitely in their future plans, but they want to achieve their individual goals first.

The Olympic gymnast also shared that she and Owens regularly discuss their plans for a family. Biles revealed that his husband is eager to start a family, but they are taking the time to ensure they are ready. The couple is excited about the prospect of becoming parents and is looking forward to sharing their accomplishments and experiences with their future children.

Expounding on the fact that playing sports wouldn’t be a must for their children, Owens reiterated that strategy will work for their kids. In an article written by Emma Aerin Becker and Johnny Dodd for People, the Bears safety said he’d rather focus on making memories with his family.

“If that’s what they want to do, I’m not going to try to force anything on them,” Owens says. “Obviously they’re going to know what their parents did, so that’ll be just something cool for them to look at and for us to be able to relive those stories and memories with them.”

“And she’s big on taking pictures and we’ll have stuff framed up for them,” he adds of Biles.

Owens continues, “But honestly, whatever they want to do, I’ll just support them a hundred percent. I don’t want to force ’em and make it feel like you have to do this because we did. That does generally work out for kids.”

Just recently, Biles had a remarkable performance at the 2024 Olympics, winning three gold medals and a silver. She solidified her legacy as one of the all-time great gymnasts, dominating the sport for over a decade. Meanwhile, Owens skipped the start of training camp to watch and support his wife in Paris.
