Releаse dаte reveаled for NY Jets’ new unіforms аnd logo

New York Jets will reportedly unveil new uniforms and logo later this month
The wait for the New York Jets’ new logo and uniforms is almost over.

According to a report from SportsLogos.net, the Jets will unveil their new logo and uniforms on April 15.

In addition to the white throwback uniform (“Legacy White”) the team wore last season, the Jets will add a green home jersey and a black alternate jersey in the same style. The uniforms are based on the look used by the franchise from 1978 to 1989.

The team is also expected to change its primary logo to the one that was used from 1978 to 1997, which was also featured as the helmet logo on last year’s throwbacks.

It will be interesting to see what tweaks, if any, are made to the new jerseys, but the move to the retro logo and style is one fans have been clamoring for.

The Jets’ previous jerseys, worn from 2019 to 2023, were arguably a downgrade in almost every sense. The logo was not at the level of every other iteration, and the uniforms, specifically the green one, were not well received by the fanbase.

If the new green and black jerseys are on par with the white one we saw in 2023, the Jets could have one of the best uniform sets in the NFL. The design should be clean and minimalistic with a unique blend of retro and modern styles.

The logo will also return to the roots of the “Jets” name by including the plane, which has been missing since the late 1990s.

As the saying goes, when you look good, you play good. The Jets seem to have the first part down, and now it falls to the team to capitalize on the second part of the saying in 2024.
