Those who know Mike Tyson are well aware that he has become one of the cannabis industry giants alongside WWE legend Rick Flair. Every time we get to see him on his ‘Hot Boxin’ podcast, Tyson is lighting up a spliff or a flat out joint. The legendary boxer’s lifestyle revolves completely around the plant and he is almost exclusively tied to it for the rest of his life. But accepting to fight Jake Paul means he will have to give up on smoking the plant for a few months until he fights the Youtuber. In previous interviews, Tyson has addressed his habit and revealed the reason he loves it so much. Also, he claims he quit while he gets ready to fight Paul.
Everybody understands Mike Tyson stops smoking the plant, he wouldn’t be at his full lung capacity if he prepared to fight while he also keeps smoking. This is what Tyson said about both his habit and doing edibles before the fight: “I don’t know, maybe it has something to do with my tripolar tendencies or something. But I don’t think I am going to smoke for this fight. I think I am going to be very irritable and nasty. Normally I do, but for this particular fight I think I’m going to go pretty raw and naked. I’m 58 and what? I’m getting billions of views from just talking to somebody about fighting.”
Mike Tyson is already making millions from his cannabis empire, he sells both flowers and edibles. But the most famous product hehas on the market are those edible marihuana-infused gummy ears. To those who recall, Mike Tyson famously bit Evander Holyfield’s ear and gut a chunk of it clean off. As of April 2024, Mike Tyson’s cannabis empire is already valued at a whopping $200 million. He famously shares the partnership with WWE legends Rick Flair and Hulk Hogan. But for now, Mike will have to stay away from the weed if he wants to make it to the fight at 100% fitness.
