REPORT: Dаllаѕ Cowboyѕ Could Be Wіtһout Superѕtаr WR Ceedee Lаmb For Tһe Foreѕeeаble Future

The Dallas Cowboys offseason is just getting worse.

The Dallas Cowboys want to ensure some of their headline players are with the organization for the foreseeable future as they have massive decisions to make with quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and pass-rusher Micah Parsons.

Prescott and Lamb are scheduled to hit free agency after the upcoming season while Parsons is under team control through the 2025 campaign.

Unfortunately for the team, it appears one of their star offensive players wants to get paid now. Star WR CeeDee Lamb may be absent from the start of Dallas Cowboys offseason workouts on April 15 as he seeks a new contract, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The report added that barring a massive deal to make Lamb the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history, he will not be taking the field for the team and he could holdout.

Unless something drastically changes, Lamb is currently scheduled to play out the 2024 season on the fifth-year option of his rookie deal, which would carry a $17.99 million salary.

The 25-year-old solidified himself as one of the NFL’s top wideouts last year.

CeeDee Lamb Is One of The Best Wide Receivers In The Entire NFL & Losing Him Could Be Detrimental To The Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb had an All-Pro season as he hit career-highs in several categories last year.

In his fourth year, Lamb became one of the best receivers in football, as he totaled career-highs in yards (1,749), receptions (135), and touchdowns (12).

He is elite and losing a talent like him could be detrimental for the Dallas Cowboys going forward if they want to fight for a Super Bowl one day.
