If you’ve been following the top-30 visits for every team in the last couple weeks then you have seen the name Gionvani Manu. The Tongan offensive tackle out British Columbia University had a very impressive workout that saw him run a 4.96 40-yard dash and a 33.5 inch vertical leap at 6-foot-7 and 352 pounds.
More than half the league was at his pro day and so far he’s had a top-30 visit with 11 teams. You can now add the Lions to that list of visits.
Things are picking up in a big way for BIG man Giovanni Manu, the former hoops star turned left tackle rising up draft boards. I’m told Manu has 30 visits with:
Cowboys
Giants
Jets
Pats
Browns
Bengals
Colts
Lions
Packers
Chiefs
BroncosManu also has an upcoming private workout… https://t.co/0wvWKfxGFz pic.twitter.com/7ftMX5Toxc

Manu is an incredible athlete for his size and he’s going to have a lot of teams interested in him. At that size, with his look, the WWE is probably going to be interested too. They’ll have to wait though because this guy is definitely getting drafted.
Manu is currently slated to go on day three at some point. He is not the only player out of Canada that the Lions have done their due diligence on. The Lions also had a top-30 visit with the CFL Rookie of the Year Qwan-Tez Stiggers.
