The Jets showcased new primary and secondary logos on Monday
Unlike their past rebrand in 2019, the New York Jets are fully embracing their namesake in 2024.
The Jets revealed their new primary and alternate logos on Monday morning in conjunction with their new uniforms, per the team’s official X account (formerly Twitter).

As seen on the team’s helmets, the primary logo has the team’s name visible with a jet plane coming out of the J. While it’s undoubtedly a darker shade of green—as compared to the Kelly Green of yesteryear—it is essentially the same logo the team used from 1978-1997.
The first secondary logo revealed is the words “NY” in the same font as the primary logo. It also has the jet plane going above the logo.
New York also revealed logos with the primary and secondary logos in the football oval. The primary football oval logo could be used at midfield in 2024, as it was what the team did last season.
Finally, the team revealed a logo with just the plane inside of the football oval and the “NY” logo without the plane attached.

Like the jerseys, the new logos are a refreshing and much-needed update to the team’s look.
New York is finally utilizing the “jet” in its design, which it has not done since Bill Parcells shifted away from the logo in the late 1990s.
The logos and watermarks are sleek and clean. They fully represent the new look and the past of the New York Jets organization. Combined with the new jerseys, New York arguably has one of the best overall brand designs in the NFL.
The Jets have nailed their moves this offseason and have nailed their new look. Now, it is time for the team to capitalize on the goodwill and succeed in 2024.
