The Philadelphia Eagles are under the microscope right now.
HC Nick Sirianni survived a tumultuous end to the season, but he will enter the campaign on the hot seat.
However, he might not be the only Eagle under a lot of pressure to perform.
According to NFL analyst Kimberley A. Martin, Jalen Hurts is currently under a ton of pressure.
Talking on ESPN’s “First Take,” she stated that it doesn’t matter that Sirianni hasn’t put him in a position to succeed because of the countless coaching changes he’s made; he’s still got to prove himself.

And while he’s shown glimpses of great talent, there were plenty of doubts about him before he led the team to the Super Bowl.
That’s a bit of a valid point.
Just two years ago, some fans and pundits were urging the Eagles to move on from Hurts.
He responded by having an MVP-caliber year and taking the team to the final game of the campaign.
Hurts got a massive contract, then regressed last season.
Granted, he wasn’t healthy, and the Eagles — starting with Sirianni — were an absolute mess last season.
Even so, this is a quarterback-centric game.
Howie Roseman could eventually choose to move on from Sirianni as a head coach, but the wins and losses will most likely always hang on Hurts’ shoulders, at least in the eyes of the fans.
That’s why he’ll have to prove that the success he found two years ago wasn’t a fluke or an outlier and that he’s actually that guy.
