Eаgleѕ Wіll Mаke NFL Hіѕtory Tһіѕ Seаѕon Wіtһ WR Tаndem

The Philadelphia Eagles made waves this offseason by signing both of their 1,000-yard receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith to three-year deals.

Brown’s deal will go for a total of $96 million and Smith’s deal will go for a total of $75 million.

According to NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Eagles are the first team in NFL history to have two wide receivers that are averaging $25 million per year on each of their current contracts.

Both of them are completely worth each of their deals.

Starting with Brown, the three-time Pro Bowl receiver is one of the best in the league.

He has recorded four 1,000-yard seasons in his five-year career.

Since being traded over from Tennessee in 2022, he has gotten back-to-back Second-team All-Pro nods after consecutive career seasons.

In 2023, the former Ole Miss receiver set career-highs in targets (158), receptions (106), and catch percentage (67.1%).

If quarterback Jalen Hurts is looking for a big play, Brown is the first option.

DeVonta Smith is one of the most underrated receivers in the league.

He is the Robin to Brown’s Batman.

The two-time national champion at Alabama has recorded over 3,100 receiving yards across his first three NFL years.

Despite not playing a full season last year, he recorded his second consecutive season with 80+ receptions, 1,000+ receiving yards and 7 touchdowns.

When Brown is covered on the other side, Smith is the next dangerous option.

Head coach Nick Sirianni has arguably the best receiver duo in the league.

Look for them to have another outstanding year, even with the addition of Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley.
