In his heyday, the late Muhammad Ali’s verbal assaults could be just as devastating as his quick hands.

And the likes of UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and boxing great Floyd Mayweather junior – two of the best trash talkers in the modern day fight game – are just products of Ali, according to WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew.

“Let me tell you that when we all talk as boxers and you hear the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor and myself, we are all just products of the greatest man who ever lived and that is Muhammad Ali,” he told talkSPORT.
