How Lіonѕ NFL drаft tаrget Cooper DeJeаn fаred аt prіvаte pro dаy

The Detroit Lions could be in the market for a defensive back in the 2024 NFL draft and Iowa’s Cooper DeJean is one of many potential targets for them at the end of the first round.

DeJean, who suffered a fractured fibula last November, was unable to take part in the NFL Scouting Combine and Iowa’s Pro day, so he held a private pro day on Monday — and he didn’t disappoint.

Terron Armstead talks thoughts of retirement, Dolphins’ place in AFC East

Tackle Terron Armstead talks thoughts of retirement, Miami Dolphins’ place in AFC East.

The Iowa product posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.43, a vertical of 38.5 inches, a broad jump of 10-foot-4 and 16 bench press reps. He also measured in at 6-foot and 203 pounds.

DeJean could fill the Lions’ need at either outside cornerback or safety, and he has the ability to play in the slot, which could come in handy if Detroit decides to move Brian Branch to the back end.

The 21-year-old figures to be in range of the Lions’ No. 29 overall pick, but his impressive showing at the individual workout could change things.
