Jax Taylor Shares Why He’s Getting Treatment Amid Mental Health Struggles, as Brittany Cartwright is Spotted Hanging Out With Scheana & ‘The Valley’ Costars

Jax Taylor shared why he’s choosing to work on himself after his rep confirmed on Tuesday that he’s seeking in-patient treatment for his mental health. The 45-year-old is currently separated from his wife Brittany Cartwright, though they’ve been spotted together with their three-year-old son on many occasions. The exes also host a podcast together, where they’ve been open about the struggles that led to their split.

Jax Taylor Shares Why He’s Choosing to Work on Himself amid Stay at In-Patient Treatment Facility, as Estranged Wife Brittany Is Spotted Hanging Out with Scheana Shay and Valley Costars

After last season on The Valley, Brittany shared that her fighting with Jax led her to move out with their son. Jax has recently indicated that he’s been trying to work on himself so he can get back with his family.

In a July 31 Instagram post, Jax shared a photo of himself holding his son.

“Working on getting better for you buddy, I love you. ❤️,” he explained in the caption.

Meanwhile, Brittany was spotted in a photo of her own, via Page Six, from his new bar, Jax’s Studio City, as she hung out with Scheana Shay and Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano Brunette.

Later, she posted a pic of herself wearing an orange dress while on a lawn that overlooked the sea during sunset.

In a separate video on TikTok, via @queensofbravo, Brittany was hanging out with her Valley castmates Nia Sanchez, Jasmine Goode, Michelle Lally, and Janet Caperna. But Kristen Doute, who’s feuding with several in the cast, was noticeably absent.

The stars lip-synched to an audio recording that stated, “We are back baby … we are f–king back … we’re back!”

Brittany hasn’t publicly addressed Jax’s choice to get treatment.

Earlier this summer, Jax shared on his podcast that he started seeing a professional in order to better regulate his emotions.

“I’m like, ‘This is what’s wrong with me, and this is what I’m doing, and this is who l’m attacking. And I have serious, serious anger issues, and I have a child, and I don’t want him to see me act like that,’” said Jax in June.

The Valley season two is currently filming, and reports suggested that he had a heated scene with co-star Jesse Lally and is still at odds with Danny Booko – who Jax accused of getting kicked out of his bar.
