Jets Could Mаke A Bіg Move In NFL Drаft

The New York Jets have been one of the most aggressive teams in the NFL during this offseason, with the team determined to bounce back after a forgettable 2023 campaign as a result of superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers going down with a season-ending Achilles injury.

The storied NFL franchise made some key improvements to the offensive side of the football, with the team bringing in veteran wide receiver Mike Williams to give the squad another weapon downfield and adding one of the best left tackles in the game, Tyron Smith, to protect Rodgers.

Along with addressing the offensive side of the football, the Jets also added to the defense, with the team acquiring linebacker Haason Reddick in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.

It appears the Jets might not be done wheeling and dealing, with New York potentially considering trading down from No. 10 overall in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, according to ESPN’s Rich Cimini via Dov Kleiman.

With all the talented young quarterbacks available in the first round of the draft on April 25, some teams seem to be considering trading up to grab one.

Obviously, the Jets don’t need a young quarterback with Rodgers in the fold, so taking advantage of this situation would likely be a wise move, as they can get more draft capital from a quarterback-needy team.

However, it’s impossible to tell which quarterbacks will be available at No. 10, and four quarterbacks could potentially be off the board by then.

It’s safe to assume Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, and J.J. McCarthy will be gone by No. 10, but Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix will likely be available.
