Michael Jordan is competing in a fishing tournament in Maryland this week – and the NBA legend has been spotted puffing on a cigar on his $8million superyacht, Catch 23.
The 61-year-old Jordan – who was recently on vacation in Europe – was pictured with his crew on board the yacht during the White Marlin Open in Ocean City.
The competition lasts for four days through to August 9 and Jordan’s team apparently caught the heaviest Mahi Mahi so far in the tournament as of Tuesday night.
At the time of writing, his Catch 23 vessel is listed as having caught a mahi weighing 32.5lbs, with Patrick Fields listed as the successful angler. According to delmarvanow.com, he made the catch with only 45 minutes left on day two.
There is an $8million prizefund on offer for the competing teams – loose change for Jordan, who has an estimated worth of $3.2billion.

According to reports, Jordan flew via private jet to Salisbury on Sunday night, with airport only 30 miles away from Ocean City.
Jordan’s Catch 23 is a stunning yacht. It has a maximum speed of 40 knots and can accommodate eight guests and a crew of two.
It was built in 2018, weighs 103 tonnes and reportedly costs in the region of $800,000 to run each year. It reportedly has a 216 square-foot cockpit for deep fishing, too.
The White Marlin Open has been held annually in Maryland since 1974 and is open to all anglers.
Last weekend, Jordan was also pictured celebrating Dwight Freeney making the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
