We can go ahead and assume that NY Giants wideout Malik Nabers and Detroit Lions defensive back Kerby Joseph won’t be exchanging Christmas cards this winter. During the final joint practice between the two sides, both standouts were furious with one another.
It led to countless haymakers between Nabers and Joseph being exchanged. This is something Brian Daboll and Dan Campbell can’t be too happy about. Well, their anger might only go up after they take a look at another angle of the brawl. There was simply no stopping these guys from letting loose in UFC-type fashion:
Sheesh. As much as we love Nabers, this all started with him putting his hands up high on Joseph, who wasted no time in going after him. Shortly after that initial shove, everything went wild. In this new clip too, you can see running back Devin Singletary not wasting a second in flying in to defend Nabers.
The new Giants RB1 tossed some punches of his own and had several Lions players going after him. Things were so heated between New York and Detroit, the Day 2 practice had to be stopped short. There were simply too many fights that were breaking out.
Better angle of the Malik Nabers/Kerby Joseph fight….
Nabers definitely made contact first, and then things went bananas.

After practice, Nabers spoke with the media and downplayed things, saying that it was hot, people were competing and that it’s football at the end of the day. Nabers decided not to take any further shots at Lions players, but this whole incident is surely something Daboll and Joe Schoen will be talking to him about. They’re not going to want to have their No. 6 overall pick get in any other fights like this. They want to make sure he stays healthy and doesn’t risk a silly injury.
