The Green Bay Packers have seen numerous veteran players sign with new teams elsewhere in the league.  Of course, that is due largely in part to the Packers moving in a new, younger direction over the last few seasons.

Now they’re seeing yet another former starter get another chance, this time with an AFC Contender.

Our very own Robin Adams covered the news earlier today:

Earlier today, NFL insider Aaron Wilson reported on X (formerly Twitter) that the Jaguars had signed for Packers safety Adrian Amos:

Amos and Savage were the Packers’ starting safeties from 2019-2022. The veteran safety originally signed with Green Bay after his rookie contract with the Chicago Bears expired.

In four seasons with the Packers, Amos played in 66 of a possible 66 games, notching seven interceptions and 362 tackles during that time.

Last season, Amos originally signed with the New York Jets but was released midway through the season. He was then picked up by the Houston Texans.

In all, Amos played 16 games last season.

When Packers fans saw yet another former Safety sign with the Jaguars (first was Darnell Savage), they reacted accordingly on social media:

Savage started 66 games for the Packers, 125 throughout his career so far.  It will be interesting to see what kind of role he can carve out in Jacksonville’s defense.
