Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s infamous “Cookie Lady” has closed her shop.
Over the weekend, the businesswoman, whose real name is Shiana White, announced that she was closing the doors to her Atlanta bakery A Haute Cookie.
Faithful fans of RHOA may remember Shiana’s bombshell appearance during Season 12 of the hit Bravo reality series. She was introduced to the cast by Kenya Moore and her cookie shop was next door to Cynthia Bailey’s Bailey Wine Cellar. But she didn’t just come on as the average friend of the show. During one of her handful of appearances (with a box of her popular cookies in tow), she confronted Tanya Sam and revealed that Tany Sam’s longtime partner Paul Judge was trying to talk to and flirt with her when she saw him at a club one night. The ordeal turned into a dramatic storyline for Tanya Sam and led to a major fallout between her and Kenya Moore.
In an Instagram video, Shiana revealed,
“I would like to let everyone know that as of today A Haute Cookie is officially closed here in Atlanta. We will not be able to order…putting everything on pause and discontinuing for now. Atlanta has played its course.”
She continued by thanking fans and customers for their support, adding that she’s ready to “move on.”
“I’ve got other places to go in life. I appreciate this journey, it’s been so beautiful.”
In 2020, Shiana spoke exclusively with theaJasmineBRAND and said she believed editing was a factor in how she was portrayed on RHOA.
“I know myself and who I am at the beginning and end of the day. I also know what it takes to make a successful reality show and they have to edit to bring the drama and keep ratings.”
She later said in part that she hoped she and Tanya Sam could settle their issues.
“I would like to… My intentions were not to hurt her.”
