“I haven’t been on a lot of other teams, obviously, but to have a consistent message for the players and the coaches, I respect that a lot,” said Killebrew. “Because you don’t have to do that. You could just be like, ‘Ah, coaches, you do what you want,’ but players, ‘Do as I say, not as I do.’ But not here.”

Killebrew admits he hasn’t experienced many other coaching styles as a player, but he recognizes that Tomlin’s approach is unique.
