The Bachelorette: Jenn Tran’s Ex-Boyfriend Cameo Proves The Show Doesn’t Care About It’s Lead

Much to Jenn Tran’s shock, The Bachelorette season 21 brought her ex-boyfriend, Matt Rossi, to the show, proving once again that they only care about their ratings, and not her. Jenn and Matt dated three years ago and recently reconnected. She emphasized in her confessional that Matthew wasn’t the toxic ex whom she’d spoken about in the past. When Matt arrived in Auckland, New Zealand, host Jesse Palmer said that he flew halfway around the world at his own expense in order to win Jenn back.

The Bachelorette: Jenn Tran's Ex-Boyfriend Cameo Proves The Show Doesn't Care About It's Lead

Throughout The Bachelorette season 21, Jenn has made some very strong connections with multiple men. However, Jenn’s ex has now thrown a wrench into all of it. Although Jenn seemed happy to see Matt, and is now considering adding him to her cast, his arrival is yet another example of the producers interfering with her season. It proves that they really don’t care about Jenn.

Jenn’s Ex Made An Appearance To Cause Drama

Matt’s Late Arrival Is Very Suspicious

The Bachelorette Season 21’s Jenn Tran’s Ex Matthew Rossi Arrives In New Zealand

When Jenn asked Matt why he didn’t tell her that he loved her before she left to film The Bachelorette season 21, he told her that he did, but not as grandly. However, it was a great question because it called attention to his and the producers’ intentions. Matt could’ve called Jenn before she left for the show, or he even could’ve called the producers and asked to be a contestant from the beginning of the season.

The fact that Matt arrived halfway through the season proves that the producers wanted to create drama more than they had Jenn’s best interests at heart. Although the show claims that Matt paid his own way to get there, he surely needed the producers’ okay to appear on it. He couldn’t have just crashed it without their permission.

Jenn’s Ex Showing Up Could Have Ruined The Experience For Her

Jenn’s Men Don’t Seem Happy About Matt’s Arrival

The Bachelorette season 21’s Jenn Tran’s Ex Matt Rossi Might Join The Show

Although The Bachelorette season 21 previews can be misleading, it appears that Jenn’s men aren’t happy about Matt’s arrival. In fact, it seems that some of them are very angry about it. The Bachelorette season 21 producers had to have known that the contestants would be upset by Matt disrupting the season, but they allowed him to do it anyway.

If Jenn does allow Matt to join the show, it will surely turn the season upside down. If any of Jenn’s contestants become upset by the possibility of Matt staying, they could leave the show. However, the producers care more about the drama than how Matt’s arrival might affect Jenn and her contestants.

The Bachelorette Season 21 Producers Likely Called Jenn’s Ex To Spice Up The Season, Not For Her Benefit

Jenn Wanted A Fresh Start On The Bachelorette

After appearing in Joey Graziadei’s Bachelor season, Jenn was ready for a fresh start in her own Bachelorette season, and she wanted to move on from her past. The producers had to have known this after getting to know Jenn. However, they seemed to care more about spicing up the season than Jenn herself. It’s highly possible that they contacted Matt or even more of Jenn’s exes in order to create drama on the show. Matt claims he paid his own way to Auckland, but the producers’ invitation could’ve extended an invitaiton to start the ball rolling, although it hasn’t been proven.

The Bachelorette season 21 was going very smoothly until Matt’s arrival shook things up. The fact that Jenn was so shocked by it proves that the producers wanted to take advantage of her by creating drama. They didn’t care about her feelings at all. It’ll be very intriguing to see if Jenn welcomes Matt into the cast, or if she asks him to leave. They seem to like each other very much, so it’s highly possible that he’ll stay. If Matt does stay, there’s a good chance that he and Jenn could get back together. Whatever happens, hopefully Jenn will find her happily-ever-after at the end of The Bachelorette season 21.
