Tһe perfect tһіng to do wіtһ tһe Detroіt Lіonѕ tһіrd һelmet іn 2024

The NFL informed teams on Wednesday that there would be an update to the leagues helmet policy that would allow teams going through the redesign process to have three different helmet designs in 2024.

As we know, the Lions are one of the teams going trough the redesign process right now and they will be unveiling their new uniforms on April 18th at Ford Field. Could their be a new third helmet design? If so, there really is only one perfect design that they could go with.

That’s right. It’s time to bring bubbles back and it’s time to bring back the 90’s look. The Eagles, Seahawks, Buccaneers, 49ers, Titans, Giants and Rams have all brought back their 90’s looks for an alternate uniform and the jealousy felt by Lions fans has been real.

Now the Lions have the perfect opportunity to bring back that look this year while also making sure that they maintain their current logo. The exact look that Barry Sanders has in the picture above is the dream here.

The other dream, that I know isn’t shared with everyone, is that the Lions pair their blue helmet that they debuted last year with a black and blue alternate. We’ll see if that personal dream of mine comes true soon enough.
