With the NFL draft right around the corner I felt it would be nice to see who the great Jets fans at Gang Green Nation wanted the team to select. There are a myriad of possibilities so let’s see what the collective group here wants the Jets to do.

I will start by taking out all the players who probably won’t be available by pick #10. I also will not make a selection that includes trading up in the draft. Although I can see how those thinking about the Jets future might be interested in doing so, the Jets don’t have the draft capital to make that happen without mortgaging the future, which would be counterintuitive to building towards a bright future.

The Jets have Aaron Rodgers. The last time a team with Super Bowl aspirations that Rodgers led selected a quarterback in the first round he was not happy. So let’s remove the quarterbacks from consideration at pick #10.
